The Spanish Infusión School’s Kindergarten program provides an active and interactive model to stimulate a child’s natural excitement for learning.
Through direct experiences, hands-on learning, and an environment in which they feel safe to make mistakes, students ask questions, share feelings, gain confidence, and become comfortable speaking with adults and peers.

SÍ School kindergartners create using specific elements of art, such as line and color. They also view and analyze subject matter and content; use the visual arts vocabulary; and as the year progresses, learn to understand art’s historic importance and diversity in the world, most notably in Mexico.
Music & Performing Arts
SÍ School kindergartners learn about music genres and express themselves as budding musicians through singing, playing rhythm instruments, moving, and playing games. They also engage in dramatic play and perform at a variety of school festivals and events.
Spanish Infusion in Kindergarten
Kindergarten offers children a gentle introduction to the Spanish language and a foundation for a smooth language acquisition experience. At this level, students develop fundamental skills including listening comprehension, decoding, oral expression, and basic vocabulary development.
Awareness and appreciation of Spanish language and culture are developed through exposure to enriching lessons in meaningful contexts. By the end of Kindergarten, students will have acquired basic, age-appropriate knowledge of Spanish and reached equally appropriate developmental milestones in their English language skills.
To support the strong link between physical education and learning, SÍ School kindergartners are encouraged to explore movement and develop gross motor skills. By offering a series of well-considered and developmentally appropriate activities, SÍ School helps children gain confidence in their athletic abilities, encourages teamwork, and promotes a “can-do” attitude that supports fun and learning for all.
